What is Projexions Notes?
Notes is an encrypted desktop app for solo professionals who take client notes and need something more secure than Google Docs, more affordable than HIPAA-compliant SaaS, and simpler than a full EHR system.
Built for the solo therapist, coach, or consultant managing around 20 clients — where data protection matters but enterprise software is overkill.

What’s inside
Client profiles — One record per client: contact info, session history, notes, and communication log. See a client’s full timeline in one place.
Encrypted notes — Write in Markdown with full formatting. Attach files. All notes are encrypted at rest in an AES-256 local database. Nothing is readable without your PIN or biometrics.
SOAP templates — Pre-built Subjective/Objective/Assessment/Plan templates for session notes. Fill in the structure without starting from scratch each time.
Session scheduling — Log sessions with date, duration, and type. See a client’s full session history at a glance.
Vault security — Lock the app with a PIN or use biometric authentication (Touch ID on Mac). The vault auto-locks after inactivity.
Search — Find notes across all clients by keyword, date range, or client name. Fully encrypted search that never sends queries anywhere.
Export and backup — Export anonymized client lists for reporting. Back up your entire vault as an encrypted ZIP file.
Why not Google Docs or Notion?
Google indexes your documents for advertising. Notion stores your data on their servers under broad terms of service. A breach at either company exposes your clients’ most sensitive disclosures. Projexions Notes keeps everything local — there’s nothing to breach remotely.
