Who We Are
Projexions is a software and bookkeeping services company based in West Hollywood, California, USA. We operate the website at projexions.net and sell one-time-purchase desktop software. We can be reached through our contact page.
What Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate our business:
- Contact data — name and email address when you fill out our contact form or request information.
- Purchase data — processed by our payment provider (Gumroad). We do not handle or store payment card details.
- Analytics data — anonymized usage data to understand how the site is used. This data does not identify you personally.
Our desktop applications run entirely on your device. They do not send any data to our servers. All data you enter into those applications stays on your machine, encrypted locally.
Legal Basis for Processing
Under GDPR, we process your data on the following legal bases:
- Contractual necessity — to fulfill a purchase or respond to a service inquiry.
- Legitimate interests — to improve our website and understand our audience (anonymized analytics only).
- Consent — when you explicitly opt in to email communications. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure — you can request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to data portability — you can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our contact page. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.
Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond and for legitimate business record-keeping. We do not retain data longer than necessary. Purchase records are retained as required for tax and legal compliance.
International Transfers
We are based in the United States. If you contact us or make a purchase from the EU/EEA, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely and in accordance with this policy. Our payment processor (Gumroad) maintains its own GDPR compliance commitments.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies, primarily for anonymized analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
Right to Complain
If you believe we are processing your personal data in violation of GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the EU, you can find your national supervisory authority through the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) at edpb.europa.eu.
